AP POLYCET 2025 Result and Seat Allotment Update for Students

The AP POLYCET 2025 exam was held successfully on 30 April 2025 across Andhra Pradesh. Lakhs of students appeared for this polytechnic entrance test to secure admission into diploma engineering and non-engineering courses. The AP POLYCET result 2025 was declared on 10 May 2025 at the official website polycetap.nic.in. Students can now check their results and download their rank cards online.

The exam had 120 multiple choice questions – 50 from Mathematics, 40 from Physics, and 30 from Chemistry. Each question carried 1 mark and there was no negative marking. Students who scored 36 marks or more have qualified the AP POLYCET 2025 exam.

To check the AP POLYCET result 2025, visit polycetap.nic.in and click on the result link. Enter your hall ticket number and submit to view your marks and rank. The rank card must be downloaded and printed for the counselling process.

The AP POLYCET 2025 answer key was released in two phases – the provisional key came out on 2 May and the final key was uploaded on 6 May 2025. This helped students estimate their scores in advance. Around 95.36% students passed the exam, with several students scoring the perfect 120 marks.

The counselling for AP POLYCET 2025 started with registration from 20 June to 27 June 2025. Certificate verification was done from 21 June to 28 June. Students had to pay a processing fee of Rs 700 (for General and BC categories) and Rs 250 (for SC/ST) to participate.

Seat allotment results for phase 1 were released on 9 July 2025 after 6 PM. Students can log in at polycetap.nic.in using their hall ticket number, date of birth and password to check which college and branch they got. Those who got a seat must pay the seat confirmation fee, download the allotment letter and report to the college between 10 July to 14 July 2025. Classes also started from 10 July.

Students not happy with their phase 1 allotment or who didn’t get a seat can go for phase 2 counselling which begins shortly. They must again go through the web options process and wait for fresh allotment results.

Important documents required during AP POLYCET 2025 counselling include rank card, SSC marks memo, caste certificate, income certificate, residence proof, and Aadhaar card. Students are advised to keep all originals and copies ready.
